Marcos Leon's 16" Turkey Recipe
profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=2799168

Ingredients:

1 turkey
2 boxes of seasoned bread crumb stuffing
2 cups of canned pitted olives
1 can of peas
1 bag of carrots
1 cup of mushrooms
1 whole celery stock
1 large onion
2 cups of canned mixed vegetables

Lots of butter...hey it's a turkey. Your aloud to get fat once a year.

Take liver out of turkey and cut into small pieces along with heart. Saute in butter in big pot. Then in same big pot add all bread crumb stuffing with as much butter as it takes to get it moist. Simmer over low-med heat. Chop olives, mushrooms, celery, onion and carrots.

Add to stuffing as soon as possible. Make sure to keep stirring so as not to burn stuffing. Add more butter if desired. Add vegetables, and peas and keep stirring. Let cool a little before you begin stuffing your turkey. Smear butter all over turkey including inside. Stuff turkey with your stuffing until bird looks like it can't hold anymore.

This next part is optional. I usually like to sew the turkey up so the stuffing bakes inside the turkey and absorbs all the flavor. Put turkey into a big oven safe plastic bag. Cooking time of turkey depends on size but cook at 350 degrees. Usually 4-5 hours but keep checking every 2 hours. That's it...hope you like. Enjoy.
